In January of 1997, Kris Kollasch became an entrepreneur, starting what began as "Fine Art & Custom Finishes" and has morphed into Fine Art & Creative Environments, LLC. Over these past 25 years, Kris Kollasch has become an integral part of the Phoenix Arts community and impacted many lives positively nationwide through a business that umbrellas Fine Art, Murals & Themed Environments, and Public Art.

Throughout the halls and walls of the historic First Studio, you will find fine art of many mediums, including 3 specific bodies of work. 1. The Organics Series utilizes the impressions of leaves, twigs and seeds to create lush landscapes of acrylic on canvas and panels. 2. Hearts range from large paintings to intricate "heart specimen" sculptures displayed in jars. And 3. Assemblages come together in mixed media fulness to tell stories and conjure memories and usually involve original poetry, too.
