Artist Kristine Kollasch and assistant, Taliyah Adams discuss the finishing touches of the Tile Mural Project at Osuna Park in Peoria, Arizona. Hundreds of community members, students and arts commissioners helped make the tiles that fill the park on the corner of 83rd Ave. and Grand Avenue.
The artists at Fine Art and Creative Environments believe that community based public art is extremely valuable in bringing pride and ownership to the space in which the art and community lives.
